Gẹ́gẹ́ bíi junior, ó dé ipò 173 ní ọjọ́ 17 oṣù keje ọdún 2019.[3] Ní ibi ìdíjé ITF/CAT Junior Championship 2015 ní Mòrókò, Kádírì fi ara rẹ̀ hàn gẹ́gẹ́ bíi ìkan nínú àwọn agbá tẹ́nìs tó dárajùlọ ní Áfríkà, wọ́n tùn fun ní síkọ́láṣípù sí High Performance Center ní Mòrókò.[4][5] At the 2016 ITF U-18 Championship, Barakat made the quarter-finals. In 2017, defeated Chakira Dermane of Togo 6-0, 6-0 to set a quarter final clash with Sophia Biolay from France.[6] At national level, she was chosen to represent Nigeria at the 2016 Africa Junior Tennis Championship.[7] She won the ITF/CAT U-16 Championship in Togo.[8]

At the 2018 Lagos Open, Barakat defeated Airhunmwunde, 6-1, 6-0 to qualify for the second round. In her next game, she lost to Anna Siskova and crashed out of the tournament.[9][10]
