:The number is formed by a special keyword, <nowiki>{{NUMBEROFARTICLES}}</nowiki>, and it yields '''{{NUMBEROFARTICLES}}''' still. At [[Special:Specialpages]] you can find a list of reports on the status of the Yoruba Wikipedia. One of the most interesting pages is [[Special:Statistics]]. There, you can find one reason why NUMBEROFARTICLES may be so low: it only counts pages that are larger than a certain treshold. But then again, [http://yo.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Ancientpages&limit=500&offset=0 this page] tells me there are 171 articles in article namespace right now, and [http://yo.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Newpages&namespace=0&limit=500&offset=0 this] page shows that 110 articles have been created since October 25, 2006 (most of them by L.O.
