I've recently adjusted the edit window to accomodate these special characters (see [[Mediawiki:Edittools]]), so I think those templates aren't needed anymore. Does that work for you, or not? (LOAdewole reported that it doesn't seem to work for him in Internet Explorer, though I'm not sure if that isn't simply a font issue). What browser are you using? Which Unicode fonts do you have installed (Lucida Sans Unicode, Arial Unicode MS, Charis SIL, something else? ~~Do you have problems with inserting subdots also, or was that only in relation to a page move?
