On [[:en:February 12|February 12]], [[2007]], 16:12, the [[ÉdéeÈdèe Yorùbá|Yoruba]] [[Wikipéédíà|Wikipedia]] has welcomed its one thousandth article with the article [[Luba II]] about the [[:en:Tshiluba language|Tshiluba language]]. The text was written by [[User:Loadewole|Loadewole]], who wrote most of the other articles as well. The first 500 articles were being written from [[en:October 23|October 23]], [[2002]] till [[en:December 29|December 29]], [[2006]], the second 500 from December 29, 2006 till February 12, 2007, or a good four years opposite less than two months. This edition’s growth seems to be unstoppable, but qualitatively, graphical and structurally, there still has to be worked quite a bit on the majority of the articles.
