Joana Olu Maduka (bíi ni ọjọ́ kẹfa oṣù karùn-ún ọdún 1941) jẹ́ onímọ̀ iṣẹ́-ẹ̀rọ ará ilẹ̀ Nàìjíríà. Ó jẹ́ obìnrin àkọ́kọ́ tí ó má dára pọ mọ ẹgbẹ́ Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), Institution of Electrical Engineers, Nigerian Society of Engineers àti Nigerian Academy of Engineering. Wọ́n fí jẹ́ ọmọ ẹgbẹ́ Nigerian Institute of Science and Technology ni ọdún 1987 àti Yaba college of Technology ni ọdún 1988.[1] Òun ni obìnrin àkọ́kọ́ tí ó má je adárí ẹgbẹ́ COREN.[2]

Wọn bí Maduka ni ọjọ́ kẹfa oṣù karùn-ún ọdún 1941 ni ìlú Iléṣa ni Ìpínlẹ̀ Ọ̀ṣun. Òun ni àkọ́bí ọmọ fún ogbeni Daniel Dada àti arábìnrin Olufunmilayo Layinka. Ó lọ sí ilé ẹ̀kọ́ Otapete Methodist School fun ẹ̀kọ́ primary school. Ó padà lọ sí Methodist Girls school àti Queen's School ni 1955. Ó lọ sí ilé ẹ̀kọ́ gíga tí University of Ìfẹ́ ni ọdún 1965 níbi tí ó ti gbà B.SC nínú Applied Physics. Ó gbà M.Sc nínú engineering láti ilé ẹ̀kọ́ Trinity College ni orile-ede Dublin ni ọdún 1969.

Iṣẹ́ àtúnṣe

Maduka ṣiṣẹ́ gẹgẹ bii enjinia oluranlowo fún ilé iṣẹ́ Western Nigerian Television (WNTV) ni Ìbàdàn ni odun 1965. Ó dì í olùkọ́ fún ilé ẹ̀kọ́ gíga tí University of Ìfẹ́ ni ọdún 1966 títí di 1970.

Ní ọdún 1993, Maduka dá ìgbìmọ̀ ọ̀rẹ́ Àyíká kalẹ èyí tí ó wà láti dẹ́kun ìdọ̀tí àti láti rán àwọn obìnrin lọ́wọ́. Òun na lọ dá ìgbìmò ẹgbẹ́ Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria (APWEN).[3] Maduka founded the Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria (APWEN).[4][5][6]
