Carr jẹ́ kí àwọn London Board of Education ri wípé dídá ilé ìwé yìí sílẹ̀ maa mú ìtẹ̀síwájú bá ètò wọ́n nípa ẹ̀kọ́ ní àwùjọ.[3] Fún ìdí èyí, àwọn olùkọ̀wé kan maa ń pe Henry Carr ní "atukọ̀ King's College".[4][5]
