This template may be used to give information about a Wikipedia page in another language which has been translated to an English page.
Usage
àtúnṣePlace the following code near the top of the talk page of the English page:
{{Translated page|original language|original page|comment|version=old id}}
- Replace
original language
with the language prefix of the original page, for examplede
for German,fr
for French, or another from meta:List of Wikipedias. - Replace
original page
with the exact name of the original page in the original language. - Replace
comment
with an optional text to be displayed, for instance the date of the original page, which parts have been translated, or any other pertinent data. Thecomment
argument may be omitted. - The optional parameter
version
can be used to specify a specific revision of the source article. To find this out, select the article history from the source article, and click on the date that corresponds to the revision that was used for translation. The resulting page will have a url that ends with&oldid=number
. This number should be used for the version.

The template can be used more than once if different languages or different pages in the same language were translated.
Note that this template is a self reference, and therefore should be placed on talk pages and not used directly in articles.
