àtúnṣeIle-iwosan Orthopedic ti Orilẹ-ede, Igbobi, Lagos bẹrẹ awọn iṣẹ bii ile-iṣẹ isọdọtun fun awọn ọmọ ogun ti o gbọgbẹ lakoko Ogun Agbaye II ni ọdun 1943, lẹhin eyi o dagbasoke si ile-iwosan labẹ awọn iṣẹ iṣoogun ti Ilu Gẹẹsi ti Colonial Nigeria ti Colonial Nigeria ni 6 Oṣù Kejìlá 1945. Ile-iwosan naa, ti kọkọ pe orukọ rẹ. Ile-iwosan Royal Orthopedic ni ọdun 1956 tun ṣe iranlọwọ lati tọju awọn ọmọ ogun ti o farapa ati awọn ara ilu ti Ogun Abele Naijiria ti 1967-1970. Odun 1975 ni won fi ile-iwosan naa le ijoba ipinle Eko lowo, leyin naa ijoba apapo ni odun 1979.
Itọju Ilera
àtúnṣeIle-iwosan naa ni agbara oṣiṣẹ ti o to 1300. O ni ẹyọ itọju aladanla ati agbara ibusun 450 kan. Ile-iwosan ti wa ni bayi pe o jẹ ile-iwosan orthopedic ti o tobi julọ ni Iwọ-oorun Afirika. Mobolaji Bank Anthony ṣe owo fun apakan titun ti ile-iwosan ti o wa pẹlu atunṣe ti ile-iṣẹ pajawiri.[3]
