Olowu of Owu Kingdom

Olówù ti Òwu ni Ọba àkọ́kọ́ jùlọ ní ilẹ̀ Yoruba. Olówù àkọ́kọ́ ti Òwu (ọmọbìnrin Oduduwa ) tún jẹ́ ọ̀kan nínú àwọn ọba àkọ́kọ́ ni ilẹ̀ Yoruba.

Ìjọba Òwu jẹ́ àkóso nípasẹ̀ àwọn ọmọ-aládé tí a yàn láti àwọn ilé-ìjọba mẹ́fà : Amororo, Otileta, Ayoloye, Akinjobi, Akinoso ati Lagbedu . The oba king is helped by selected chiefs known as " Ogboniowu dont use ogbon" s and Ologuns. Balógun ni olórí àwọn olóyè náà, wọ́n sì ní Ọ̀tún, Òsì, Séríkí, Ààrẹ Ago àti Jagunna lábẹ́ ẹ̀. Ogboni chiefs consists of the Akogun, Obamaja, Orunto, Oyega, Osupori and Omolasin. Olosi is the Ifa priest of the Olowu. Originally, the Owu Kingdom has 3 townships eyun Owu, Erunmu and Apomu. In 2006, under the kingship of Oba of Owu, Oba Olusanya Adegboyega Dosunmu (Amororo II), the Owu palace administrative process was reorganized. Wọ́n tún ètò àwọn olóyè Ògbóni àti Ológun pàdé, ti Olowu-in-Council tuntun sì jáde. Ó ní Ìgbìmọ̀ mínísítà tí àwọn olórí méje, pẹ̀lú:

• The Balogun: Prime Minister of the Kingdom.
• The Olori Igbimo: Senior Counsel to the Olowu (or king), and overseer of towns and villages where the traditional values of Olowu exist.
• The Olori Omoba: Chief Prince.
• The Olori Parakoyi: Head of Commerce and Industry.
• The Balogun Apomu: The Commander of the warriors of Apomu
• The Oluroko, Oba of Erunmu, (or, where there is no incumbent, a clan chief or elder (Ogboni) from any of the 17 other clans/families in Owu Erunmu: Asoju Erunmu.
• The Iyalode : The chief of the women.
