Talansan
Talansan jẹ́ ibi tí àwọn Mùsùlùmí marabout ti ja ogun kan ní Futa Jallon, níbi ti a mọ̀ sí Guinea ní ayé òde òní, àwọn ogun Mùsùlùmí borí, ogun yí sì wà lára ìdí tí wọ́n fi dá ẹgbẹ́ ọmọ ogun Imamate of Futa Jallon kalẹ̀.
Àwọn adarí méjì ní agbègbè náà ló lòdì sí marabout, wọn kò fẹ́ yí padà sí Islam. Talansan wà ní ìlà-oòrùn Timbo àti ní etí Odò Bafing.[1][2] Gẹ́gẹ́ bí àṣà wọn, àwọn ọmọ ológun Mùsùlùmí ọ̀kan dín ní ọgọ́rùn(99) ségun àwọn alátakò tí iye wọn pò tó ìlọ́po mẹ́wàá àwọn ogun Mùsùlùmí, wọ́n sì pa ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ wọn.[1] Síbẹ̀ síbẹ̀, àwọn ènìyàn ibẹ̀ sì kọ̀ láti yí padà sí Mùsùlùmí, pàápàá jùlọ, àwọn adaran Fulbe. Wọ́n bẹ̀rù pé àwọn marabouts ma lo ẹ̀sìn yí láti fi jẹ gàba lórí wọn.[3]
Àwọn mìíràn gbàgbọ́ pé ìjà náà ti bẹ̀rẹ̀ láti ọdún 1727 AD (1140 AH), nígbà tí ogun jihad ṣẹlẹ̀.[4][5] Àwọn míràn sọ pé ó ṣẹlẹ̀ ní ọdún 1747 tàbí 1748, lẹyìn ìjà púpò fún ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ ọdún.[6][7]
